Birthstone June = Keshi Pearl
🧜♀️ According to history and the myths, pearls are symbolic of wisdom gained through experience. The gems are believed to offer protection, as well as attract good luck and wealth. They are well known for their calming effects. Pearls have a way of bringing balance to your karma.
Pearls also symbolize purity, as well as integrity and loyalty. This is one more reason why brides opt to wearing them on their wedding day.
Keshi Pearls are small non-nucleated pearls typically formed as by-products of Pearl cultivation. Because they have no nucleus, keshi pearls are composed entirely of nacre.
The name comes from a plants poppy or seed. It’s known to be small like a plant’s poppy fruit so it was named Keshi Pearl after the word ‘Keshi’ in japanese. Although Keshi means poppy in japanese, it is written as Keshi Pearl even outside of Japan.
